MEET JULIE SETTLE

Bringing Common Sense to Local Government

Hi! Thanks for visiting me here. I'd like to introduce myself and share some information about why I'm running for this seat.

I believe local government should be accessible, transparent, and focused on the people who call St. Augustine HOME.

As a longtime community resident (since the '80s), I decided to run after consistently hearing residents say they feel increasingly unheard as our city grows. I believe effective public service begins with listening.

My campaign is centered on 3 core priorities:

RESPONSIBLE GROWTH:

Growth should be guided by infrastructure, traffic, neighborhood impact, and long-term sustainability.

STRONGER COMMUNICATION: Communication and transparency between city/county leaders, residents and businesses must improve to build trust and find solutions.

PRESERVING OUR CITY'S CHARACTER:

At the same time, we must protect the historic identity and livability that makes St. Augustine unique.

I believe that when residents are heard and respected, the entire community benefits.

I'm not a career politician. I am running because I care deeply about our city's future and am committed to thoughtful, responsive leadership.

My goal is simple: to help keep St. Augustine a place where residents feel heard, respected, and proud to live.
